The character in the video-installation “As Mãos Sujas” (Dirty hands) spends his nights stealing from the public gardens of the city of Porto, created in the nineteenth century. The goal is simple: to steal the plants that decorate the gardens and that during the day keep the pigeons, the tired ones and the lovers company. This activity is tranquil; soon his house will be in bloom, a flower on the lapel.

And in this garden not even the birds are birds - I imitate their singing, while stealing.
